Valentine's Disco — a thank you

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Valentine’s Disco on Friday 15 February. There were fantastic retro outfits to match the tunes, and it was great to welcome some first-time visitors to the hall on such as fun occasion.

The evening not only provided a lot of giggles but raised more than £350 for village hall funds. There have been dances held at Ilmington Village Hall since the 1930s and it’s great that we can keep it going for present and future generations to enjoy.

First World War Memorabilia?

On Saturday, 10 November 2018, the Village Hall is hosting an “Ilmington Remembers” event, when World War 1-inspired art and poetry created by the children of Ilmington primary school will be on display. We are also featuring a memorabilia exhibition area, and warmly invite anyone who has family photos, letters, medals or other special items to bring them along to share with everyone.

Tea and cakes will be available (donations requested). Admission free.
